My goodness. That was fantastic. Great dialogue, smooth animations and very catchy characters.
This IS an old arcade ROM.
I can only applaud the efforts of getting a MAME Rom running in Flash. The game itself was probably chosen for its obscurity (someone would have noticed Final Fight from a mile away).
Very nice Ms. PAC-MAN Clone!
I don't need to comment on the gameplay as it's a very straight forward clone of the game.
The game tends to lag/jump at certain points like when the maze starts. That kind of response is really important in a game like Ms. PAC-MAN and having the skip can ruin things.
Also, the AI is a little funny. I will admit that you have probably gotten the closest to the actual patterns in the original game, but things still need some tweaking. Notably, I feel that Blinky is not nearly aggressive enough in this version of the game. Maybe it's just me and I haven't played the original for half a year now.
Good clone nevertheless.
The game sticks to its guns and does what it sets out to do: create a casual experience based on the "building a cake" idea. Thank goodness it's not another Cake Mania/resource management clone!
The game relies heavily on games that require deft skills with the mouse and being able to execute these things quickly and accurately. The game doesn't feel cheap and definitely has a good sense of value and polish to it.
I'd like to point out that one thing people/developers often forget is that little things can make a big difference. If you look at the menu system and general UI, you can tell that it wasn't slapped together as a second thought. It was actually planned out (good flow), well designed and well executed.
